POLAND – Linda Barth Sisek, 69, handed away on July 5, 2019, at Ohio Living Park Vista Retirement Community after a prolonged sickness.

Linda was born on July 15, 1949, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Marx A. and Phyllis Notman Barth.

Linda was a graduate of Youngstown State University. She married her husband, James, on Aug. 23, 1975, and lived in Liberty and Poland in addition to a short while in Naples, Fla. Linda loved doing all crafts particularly stitching and quilting. She exhibited many quilts and embroidered gadgets on the Christmas on the Gallery on the Butler Institute of American Art and the Youngstown Country Club. Linda additionally cherished portray ceramic collectible figurines and cross stitching.

Linda was a member of The Junior League of Youngstown, a trustee of Potential Development for Children and the Youngstown Symphony Society, and a member of Angels of Easter Seals, The Youngstown Country Club, and The Lake Club. She loved winters in Sarasota, Fla. and spent many blissful moments with “The Group” and with the Tourist Club in Youngstown.

Linda is survived by her husband, James, and her daughter, Atty. Maggie Sisek Adams, who lives in Amarillo, Texas together with her husband, Dr. Ronald W. Adams, and their twin boys, Orrin and Ross. Linda can be survived by her uncle, Arthur Williams of Youngstown; her sister, Kathy (Philip) Klepper of Sarasota; and her sister-in-law, Sandy (Brian) McCann of University Heights.

Friends and household could name on Monday from 10:30 a.m. till 11:45 a.m. at The First Presbyterian Church of Youngstown, 201 Wick Ave. A funeral service will instantly comply with the calling hours on Monday at midday on the church. Interment will comply with at Poland Riverside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, Linda’s household requests that memorial contributions be made to Ohio Living Park Vista, 1216 fifth Ave., Youngstown, OH 44504 or to The First Presbyterian Church, 201 Wick Ave., Youngstown, OH 44503.

Arrangements are being offered by the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland Chapel.
