As the vacation season wraps up in Metro Vancouver, numerous its well-known festive events are closing till subsequent winter.

Glow Christmas returned to Langley for one more season of festive enchantment. Over one million lights twinkle within the occasion’s 4 shows, and certainly one of them is a powerful, 63-metre-long illuminated tunnel. VanDusen Festival of Lights

Enter a magical world for the 34th yr of glowing lights and vacation cheer at VanDusen Botanical Garden’s Festival of Lights. The expansive attraction options over 1 million lights unfold out over 15 acres of the backyard. The pageant ends this weekend.

When: December 1 to December 20 (Four:30pm – 9pm); December 21 to 24 (Four:30pm – 10pm); December 26 to January 1 (Four:30pm – 10pm); January 2 to 6 (Four:30pm – 9pm)

The Peak of Christmas at Grouse Mountain

The Peak of Christmas has its last weekend on Grouse Mountain with its annual show of festive enchantment and enjoyable actions. Described as “Vancouver’s north pole,” the realm sparkles with breathtaking gentle installations, together with an imposing gentle tunnel and illuminated reindeer. Guests could watch a household vacation movie on an enormous display TV within the sky, and even take a magical sleigh journey.

While there are a selection of locations to have a good time the vacations, Heritage Christmas on the Burnaby Village Museum presents a novel, old style expertise. With hundreds of glowing lights, wreaths, vintage-themed shows and extra, the realm is remodeled right into a festive wonderland. The dazzling locomotive and the Stanley Park Train Plaza glistens with over three million twinkling lights, in addition to breathtaking shows and stay performers. The festive affair wraps up on Saturday.

When: Thursday, November 29, 2018 – Saturday, January 5, 2019. Closed on Tuesday, December 25 for Christmas Day. Several trains depart throughout every half-hour time slot.

Lights of Hope

St.Paul’s Hospital

The Lights of Hope at St.Paul’s Hospital presents an epic show of over 100,000 bulbs strung over 10km of lights. With the assistance of 150 hard-working volunteers and donated supplies, the annual occasion takes a powerful six weeks to construct. The lights will sparkle till Monday evening.

When: Was lit on Nov 16, 2018 and might be up till Monday, Jan 7, 2019.
Where: St.Paul’s Hospital – 1081 Burrard Street, Vancouver

Can’t make it out this weekend? You should still enjoy the breathtaking lights on the annual Canyon Lights occasion on the Capilano Suspension Bridge that runs till January 27, 2019. Thousands of twinkling lights will enhance the park, which incorporates the suspension bridge, Treetops Adventure, Cliffwalk, the rainforest and canyon.
