Saratoga Sheriff: Man took shotgun used in Christmas night shooting


GREENFIELD – A Greenfield man eliminated a shotgun from the scene of an unintended shooting Christmas night that injured an 18-year-old, Saratoga County Sheriff’s officers stated.

The sufferer was handled at Albany Medical Center for non-life-threatening accidents to his higher arm, officers stated.

Keegan A. Farrell, 18, of 45 Grange Road, was arrested and charged with one rely of tampering with bodily proof, a felony.

Farrell is accused of eradicating the shotgun used in the Christmas night shooting on the Hyspot Road Mobile Home Park. The shotgun has but to be recovered.

Deputies and investigators responded to the park and decided shotgun had been by chance discharged, placing a sufferer.

Investigators decided that William M. Allen, 24, of 299 Hyspot Road 3D, dealt with the gun. He was charged final week with second-degree assault and first-degree reckless endangerment, felonies, together with fourth-degree legal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor.

Allen was arraigned and ordered held on bail.

Farrell was arraigned on his tampering cost and likewise ordered held on bail.
