Napa County Chief Deputy Counsel Jennifer Yasumoto has been appointed director of the Napa County Health and Human Services Agency, Napa County Executive Officer Minh C. Tran introduced this week.
Yasumoto will direct the county’s largest division of greater than 480 workers beginning Jan. 28. The HHSA affords youngster welfare, public well being, psychological well being, alcohol and drug self-sufficiency, and older and disabled grownup packages.
Yasumoto has been a Napa County worker since 2002. She served in administration roles in Mental Health, Health and Human Services Administration and as deputy director-quality administration/compliance officer for HHSA for six years.
“Ms. Yasumoto has extensive, high-level leadership and management experience. She is thoughtful, strategic and has in-depth knowledge and experience with most HHSA programs,” Tran mentioned.
