A lacking Staten Island mother’s estranged husband and a woman had been charged with homicide Friday, New York police stated.
Jeanine Cammarata’s estranged husband, Michael Cammarata, 32, and Ayisha Egea had been charged with second-degree homicide, NYPD Chief of Detectives Dermot F. Shea tweeted. Egea is allegedly Cammarata’s present girlfriend, WABC reported. SI Live reported that she and Michael Cammarata had been additionally charged with “concealment of a human corpse and tampering with physical evidence.”

“The investigation into the disappearance of Jeanine Cammarata is now officially a murder investigation,” Shea tweeted.
On Thursday, authorities found stays at a storage facility within the Arden Heights part of Staten Island. Police sources confirmed to the New York Post that the stays belonged to the lacking mom of three.
Family and pals turned frightened about Jeanine Cammarata, 37, after she failed to indicate as much as work on Tuesday at Public School 29 and at her second job at a Dollar Store, police stated. She was final seen at work on Friday, March 29 and was scheduled to be off on Monday. She was final seen alive at about 9 p.m. Saturday at her boyfriend’s dwelling within the borough’s New Springville neighborhood, police stated.

Michael Cammarata was arrested Wednesday and charged with assault, harassment and stalking for a previous incident involving Jeanine Cammarata, police advised Fox News.
Police are nonetheless in search of Jeanine Cammarata’s car, a white 2017 Chevy Cruz with the license plate HSK8417. Her youngsters had been positioned in protecting custody, CBS New York reported.
