ASHEVILLE — Police have arrested a Candler man charged with violating a domestic violence protective order in an alleged Christmas Day assault.

Russell Dwain Goldsmith, 36, additionally faces one rely of assault on a feminine after police say he entered the home of his sufferer on Christmas and attacked her.
