Kevin Durant is “100 percent undecided” on the place he is taking part in subsequent season, his supervisor stated Tuesday.

It has been broadly speculated that Durant will signal with the Knicks this summer time in free company, most just lately by former Lakers President Magic Johnson throughout an interview Monday on ESPN.

“That is 100 percent undecided and I’m waiting on Kevin, that’s the truth,” Durant’s supervisor, Rich Kleiman, advised the Wall Street Journal’s Jason Gay. “I think there’s a feeling this thing is like war games and everybody is playing chess years out, but when somebody gets to the level of basketball that he’s at, you can’t juggle focus like that. There’s so many things he’s juggling, too. He’s not scripting his future while he’s playing the way he plays, and practices the way he practices. I think it’s frustrating, honestly, at times.”

Kleiman added: “He really doesn’t know, and I really don’t know.”

A league supply advised Forbes SportsCash on the NBA Combine final week in Chicago that Durant had advised shut mates he plans to sign up New York.

Still, citing “smart, plugged-in people,” Marc Stein of The New York Times reported the Los Angeles Clippers have emerged as an “equally dangerous threat” to the Knicks.

The Knicks have cap room for 2 max free brokers and are concentrating on Durant and Kyrie Irving, amongst others, to pair with the No. three decide within the NBA Draft on June 20, which may flip into Duke freshman star R.J. Barrett.

Both Barrett and Irving have been coached by Kevin Boyle in highschool and each have been one-and-done at Duke.

Boyle has stated he thinks Irving will land in New York.

“I think there’s a good chance in my opinion that Kyrie ends up there,” Boyle advised Ian Begley of SNY.television, including that he hadn’t spoken on to Irving. “…. In my gut, I would think that would work best for him and I would think that (the Knicks) have a really strong chance of that happening. But I have not spoken directly to him and I don’t know that to be a fact.”

As for Durant, it is unclear whether or not he is performed his final sport in a Warriors uniform. Golden State swept Portland within the Western Conference Finals and now have till May 30 for Game 1 of the NBA Finals towards the Toronto/Milwaukee winner. That collection is now tied at 2-2.

Durant hasn’t performed since struggling a calf pressure in Golden State’s second-round collection towards the Rockets. If he tore a calf muscle, it may take six weeks to get well.

Asked if he’ll play within the NBA Finals, Kleinman stated, “Do I believe? I don’t know. I honestly hope so. I honestly hope so. When you have an injury that’s real, and it’ s a real injury, for him, like he’s gotta be Kevin Durant. He’s got about the highest pain threshold of someone I know, so when he misses time it’s because the injury is real. It’s a real injury. I hope that we can see him next week or two weeks from now.”
