The FBI mentioned Sunday it was investigating a variety of faux “inert explosive devices” positioned round an Orange County metropolis. 

Two units had been discovered Saturday night in Newburgh, two legislation enforcement officers informed NBC four New York. One was outdoors a Stop & Shop close to Route 300, the opposite was discovered outdoors the Newburgh Mall.  

The units do not pose a menace to the general public, however shouldn’t be picked up, the company famous. 

A senior legislation enforcement official informed News four the units discovered to this point have been bottles crammed with what seems to be black powder, with timing-type units connected.
