NEW YORK (WABC) —
A coyote on the free in Manhattan this weekend created fairly a spectacle.
The animal was first noticed roaming the streets of Harlem late Saturday evening.
It headed south, and police picked up the path in Midtown.
Eventually, officers cornered the critter on Pier 59 in Chelsea at eight a.m. Sunday.
The coyote was shot with a tranquilizer and brought to a Brooklyn shelter.
Animal Care Centers of NYC in Brooklyn mentioned the coyote is again in the wild in a extra “appropriate habitat.”
